We hired Scratch to help our Nonprofit launch a new, casual – but high-end, food event. Having worked with Chef Matt in the past, I did not hesitate to contact him and ask for expertise. The catering team at Scratch brought experience, energy and creativity to the table. In the end, they more than delivered. The food was sublime! The key, however, was the service. Our guests truly felt catered to. If there were any difficulties that night, I sure didn’t know about it. Chef Matt and his staff were on it, making my job that night, easy.

I have used MANY caterers both in my personal life and to cater non-profit events...and no one has blown me away like Scratch. I've used them to cater personal events at my house (4 times), my baby shower (of over 100 people), more than 10 non-profit events...and I keep going back because he has the ability to make the food fit both the theme & budget of the event...



The owner Matt Hayden is probably one of the most creative chefs I have ever worked with...his spreads will make you feel like you've hired a fancy NYC caterer.



He does delicious comfort foods, unique spins on classic flavors and molecular gastronomy that will blow your mind. Plus he ALWAYS over-delivers!



I will warn you people grab him up quickly - so if you are looking for a caterer get on his schedule fast (especially during event season).
