We've seen the Outback TV ads and received $20 in gift coupons, so when our daughter invited us to lunch at a restaurant of our choice, we decided to try it.The food was excellent. The medium-rare steak I ordered actually arrived medium-rare. The service was above par. Our server, Lydia, was very sweet and attentive. The only down note was when my husband needed a small glass of water very quickly for medicine. Poor Lydia didn't realize at first what was going on, and brought the water with ice. She returned fairly quickly with the cup without ice, however.The only other caution I would advise is, be prepared for the price. Steak dinners for us three adults and my daughter's four-year-old son cost over $70, including the 18% gratuity Lydia earned. (The bill came complete with suggested gratuity percentages, beginning at 15%.)

Highly over-rated by most. Portions are small. The bloomin onion was too spicy and unedible.
