About Joel Vandersluis, MD Joel Vandersluis, MD, offers adult neurology care to patients in Dayton, Ohio, at Neurology Diagnostics, Inc. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as the Royal College Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Vandersluis also completed board certification for the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Vandersluis earned his medical degree at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. He rounded out his medical education with residency at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Afterward, he completed fellowships in electromyography, and headache and pain management at the department of neurology at Case Western Reserve University. He has served as an associate professor at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio, and a preceptor at the Ohio University Heritage School of Medicine in Athens. He remains up-to-date on the latest advancements in his field, and he is affiliated with the American Academy of Neurology, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and the Ohio State Medical Association.
