This was the second time that I had the same problem with my transmission. AAmco worked on it the first time and I felt like I was being taken advantage of from the first minute I walked in especially when I got the quote to fix it. But I had to have a car for work. When the same thing happened again 3 months after it had been worked on I knew I was not going back to AAmco. Warrenty or not.I found DARE by looking in area connect and read the reviews. Based on that I gave them a try. That is the best decision I have made for some time. They were straight to the point as to what was wrong and how much it would cost. The cost was more than reasonable. Also they treated me like I was a customer that had been going there for years. Most important they were honest. When the head mechanic provided me with a quote that was hundreds of dollars less than what the dealership wanted, I was pleased. When he called back a few minutes later to tell me the estimate amount had changed, I prepared to be disappointed. When he quoted the new price & it was higher by less than 50-cents & he explained that he didn't want his customers having any surprises in price, no matter how small, I swore I'd never take my car anywhere else.They do great work, they are trustworthy and they are simply "good people."

They have an excellent technical knowledge in all areas of auto repair from transmissions to fixing electric windows. They are very honest and do not perform unnecessary work. I have had multiple auto repairs and have never yet had to go back a second time to fix the same problem. Once they even told my friend that the dealer could perform the same work a little cheaper on a radiator repair.
