      General Info
      Established in 1983, the Exceptional Children's Assistance Center is a private nonprofit organization that focuses on the improvement of lives and education of children. It offers a variety of projects and services designed to meet the needs of parents, students, educators and other professionals in North Carolina. Its Parent Training & Information Center (PTI) is a project for parents and families of children with disabilities and other special needs. The organization also provides projects that address health care needs of special children and offers support to their families. In addition, the Exceptional Children's Assistance Center conducts various educational workshops and informative training sessions. It maintains an online learning section and is located in Davidson, N.C.
