Dr. Patounakis completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and went on to pursue a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the prestigious National Institutes of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.
