Beware of this store!!!!! They tell you one thing and do another. I called to see if they would give me cash for my books and a woman said that they do. When I brought my books over there, they only offered me store credit. They weren t even nice about the situation. They made me pack up all my books and offered no apologies for what had happened. The owner was there and recognized me from way back when I used to be a very good customer. He had very poor skills when dealing with this kind of a situation. I was extremely disappointed. I will never go back and will tell all my friends and family not to go there, as well. Thanks for reading. :)

I love this place. I have been coming here ever since I moved to the Bolingbrook area and have been remarkably impressed with the selection, the service, the staff, and the GREAT "independently owned" bookstore feel! No Starbucks here...no preselected XM-radio streamed music playing - NO these are real people who bring in their OWN music & are always willing to help you get that book you can't reach. PLUS - unlike the megacorporation booksellers, Frugal Muse will BUY your media & book items for cash or offer you a TRADE for STORE CREDIT! How can you go wrong with that? If you happen to want to order something from them - they will automatically offer it to you at a 25% discount! There is also a section in the back FULL of books that they have marked down to no more than - say $1 or so! I LOVE THIS BOOKSTORE.
