Danville High School offers classes in grades nine through 12 and enrolls more than 1,600 students. Located in Danville, Ill., the school provides a comprehensive educational program, with courses based upon state and local graduation requirements and includes core subjects, such as mathematics, language arts, social studies and science. In addition to the core subjects, students have the opportunity to take courses in foreign language, visual arts, drama, physical education, family science and business education. The school also provides career counseling. All students are invited to take part in the school newspaper and student council. Danville High School offers a variety of sports, including football, basketball, track and volleyball. It is a part of the Danville District Schools.
