Monte Vista High School, located in Danville, Calif., offers education to students in grades nine through 12. It has an enrollment of more than 2,500 students and is accredited by the Western Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges. The school s curriculum includes English, mathematics, fine arts, science, social studies and health and physical education. It also provides career and technology programs that include homemaking, construction, drafting, agriculture, electronics and business studies. The school provides various sports activities to students, such as football, powerlifting, basketball, baseball, soccer, golf, cross country, softball, volleyball, swimming, tennis and track. It also offers advanced placement programs, career counseling and summer reading programs to students. Monte Vista High School is affiliated with the San Ramon Valley Unified School District.
