This guy does not respect your time at all. Tends to charge for things in $1000 increments no matter the job. Seems to make up your bill on the fly. I could give detailed specifics but I'd rather not relive the bad memory. Way overpriced. I felt taken advantage of. Find ANYONE else to do your plumbing.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Unscrupulous and overpriced. Called several times to rectify my issue - no call back.

My experience with Plumtrees plumbing and heating: When we had no hot water, our oil company subcontracted to Plumtrees plumbing and heating. When they gave us a reasonable window time of 12-2p. When 3 oclock came, I called. He explained "we got held up" and to give them 30 minutes. The guy came an hour and a half later. We had an appointment at 5pm and had to leave. When he finished, he squawked at the babysitter for us not being there to pay which I had explained we would call with a credit card (and did). He even said ok. The bill came to $375! The $175 parts fee was to pay for a filter and a primary control that costs $45. But it was fixed or so we thought. Few days later, no hot water. We called and got an open-ended window of the afternoon. 5pm came, I call. We got "got held up" said they were coming; no one ever came. He calls this am, I said not to bother, his response "well if thats what you have to do". Clearly what he wanted us to say. He has $325, we have no hot water

My experience with Plumtrees plumbing and heating:

The morning we woke up and realized we had no hot water, we had called our oil company to have someone to come out and service the hot water heater. Our hot water heater was installed in 2010 so it is fairly new. The oil company subcontracts out to service companies as they are C.O.D. and they had Plum Trees plumbing and heating do our service. When they called they gave us a reasonable window time of 12-2p so I stayed home from work to make this happen.

When 3 o’clock came and went, I had called and said no one came. He explained that they got held up and to give them 30 minutes. The guy shows up an hour and a half later. Unfortunately, we had an appointment at 5pm so we had to leave. Luckily, we had someone babysitting my daughter while we went to our appointment.

When the guy finished up, he squawked at the babysitter for not having someone there to pay him and she assured him that we will call as soon as we get back with a credit card to pay; which we did. I had also already explained that to the man before we left and he said OK. The bill came to a whopping $375! So I was curious as to what costs so much. Come to find out, the $175 parts fee was to pay for a filter, and a primary control that costs about $45. But we didn’t say anything, it was fixed; or so we thought.

Well a few days later much to our surprise we woke up to find no hot water so we called, again. We wouldn’t of necessarily gone with them again but we just paid $375 for something that wasn’t fixed and was hoping they would honor that. This time the guy gave us an open-ended time from of “in the afternoon”. When the time was nearing 5p and no one came, I called and asked if they were coming. I got a “yep we are just finishing up a job and will be over within the hour”…..No one came.

This morning, he calls to say they "got held up" again and gave me another open-ended time frame. So I told him not to bother coming we will find someone else to do the work. It was obvious in his rapid response that was what he wanted us to do in the first place. “Well if that’s what you have to do” was his response. He knew that would happen and also has my $325 for a crappy job. Their website said they are customer-focused. Clearly not the small fish.

So if you want terrible service and get screwed on parts, use Plumtrees plumbing and heating.
