Founded in 1879, Zion Lutheran School offers a range of Christianity-based academic classes and extracurricular options to students in pre-kindergarten through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes language arts, English, mathematics, science and social studies. The school is accredited by the National Lutheran School Accreditation, Lutheran School Accreditation Commission, Texas Private School Accreditation Commission and Texas Association of Non-Public Schools. It also offers early childhood programs. The school conducts classes in religion, art, foreign languages, computer applications and physical and health education. In addition, the school offers several sports programs, including volleyball and track and field. Zion Lutheran School is located in Dallas.
