The brisket tends to be the most consistent meat they offer, and they will serve that any way you want: lean, moist, extra bark, no bark.

Ribs are hit or miss: same with sausage and chicken offerings.

Sides are an afterthought, it they taste like they are anyway: about the only ones I get now are the mustard greens and squash since you can't really eff those up much.

I was greeted with a snide remark by the apparently arrogant owner, so my visit started off somewhat negative. Except for him, the rest of the staff seemed very pleasant. That said, I love BBQ and refuse to let people ruin a good meal. I had lean brisket and ribs with beans & collard greens for the side. Although I ate most of it (except the greens), I honestly wasn't really impressed with any of it. The greens were awful. The BBQ sauce was tolerable, at best! The brisket had a nice bark and was fair, but it was cold and dry. If you absolutely have to eat here, get the ribs... they were decent. Reflecting back, the ice machine was the best part about my visit, I love crushed ice... But I don't see myself paying 16 dollars again for good crushed ice and mediocre meal. Sorry, I won't be coming back, and certainly wouldn't recommend this place to anyone else either. You might have to just check it out for yourself... if you have money to waste and are a glutton for BBQ punishment, that is.
