Streetpeoples Weekly News was applauded as being the first ever newspaper on homeless issues to be published in Texas in 1990 by TV/Radio talk show host and sports promoter Lon Dorsey of Dallas, Texas The newspaper has yet to see it's dreams come true as a major player with 12 million in annual circulation, but Dorsey continues to endeavor working with the paper to achieve its goals. The newspaper seeks to relaunch in 2012.
