El Fenix, established in 1918, is a family-owned Mexican restaurant chain that specializes in Tex-Mex cuisine. Founded by Mike Martinez, the chain has been serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area for more than 75 years. With annual sales of over $30 million, it operates over 15 store locations throughout Texas. The chain offers a variety of appetizers, soups, salads, beverages and desserts. Its restaurants also serve fajitas, quesadillas, enchiladas, tamales, tacos and traditional Mexican combination platters. The chain operates an e-store that features a range of products, such as gift baskets, T-shirts, caps, cookery books and coffee mugs. It also offers gift cards and party packages. The chain funds and supports several organizations, including the Alzheimer's Association of Dallas, American Cancer Society, American Diabetes Foundation, Autism Treatment Center and Childcare Dallas. El Fenix maintains several stores in Dallas.
