Dallas water utilities dept customer service is by far the worst I have ever had the misfortune dealing with. You would think you were applying for a huge loan or something. I had to go through proof of ownership of my home I own outright, pictured ID and my social security number and still had to wait for several days to have a simple lock removed from my meter valve.

Customer service doesn't seem to care about the needs of a new customer. The customer service department needs a complete overhaul for the needs of customers that pay their wages. People matter.
