The Dallas Human Resources Department recruits and hires individuals as employees of the City of Dallas. The department offers employee development, succession planning and performance management services. It operates a university that is responsible for the design, development and implementation of training programs. The Dallas Human Resources Department also has a client services division that provides organizational development and safety and risk management services. Located in Dallas, the department administers the Employee Assistance Program, which includes referral, support and stress management services. In addition, the Dallas Human Resources Department administers a health benefits program that includes short- and long-term disability plans.
