Absolutely great! The staff is just amazing. First time to bring my dog to boarding and it couldn't of been any better...I don't think my dog even wanted to come home with me. The staff treated my dog as if it was their own. Will defiantly be back. Thanks Guys!

My dog is part of my family - not just a pet. And truthfully, I feel guilty that I have to travel so much for work and leave him behind. So when I moved to Dallas, I went to 14 different boarding facilities to check them out. What I liked best about BHV is EVERYTHING! The staff was amazing, the kennel areas were customized for what's best for the pets, and it was clean!! (I can barely keep my house clean with one dog, so this seemed absolutely miraculous to me!) When they gave me a tour, it was unexpected, but there weren't any areas they wouldn't let me see - and there was nothing out of place. They explained why they did certain things, like the type of fence they used, in reference to why it was best for my pet - not just the cheapest option. Needless to say, I was impressed. And my pup always comes home clean and playful, not like I left him in prison - which is how he was when I took him to another place...which I won't name, but rhymes with 'Let's Heart.' ;)



Anyways, THANK YOU Barking Hound Village, for your remarkable staff, amazing facilities, and mostly - peace of mind (FINALLY)!

I left my dog there to board for a week and when I cam to pick him up he had multiple bags of food left over(I pre-measure them out to make it easier to feed) and none of his medication had been given to him. When I asked why he wasn't fed or medication given, the blonde working the front just looked at me and said she would ask the people in the back. I never got a call back explaining to me why my dog was never fed or medication given. It makes me wonder if they even took him out to potty. Needless to say I will never be taking my dog back there. How do you even miss feeding a dog for a week? Thank goodness his medication was only for allergies and nothing too serious. I do not recommend Barking Hound Village to board your dog.

My little pooch can't wait to spend a day at BHV. He starts dancing in the car when we turn 1/4 mile away. I think that says it all!

great place to board your dog. i have always been afraid to board my dog anywhere and since i have discovered barking hound village going out-of-town is a lot more relaxing. and my emotional little dog loves it!

The service was wonderful! The facilities were very clean and my dogs came home very happy and tired from playing all weekend! I definitely recommend this for dog lovers!
