Dallas Center Elementary offers a variety of educational programs to more than 320 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its academic curriculum includes reading, writing, phonics, science, social studies and math. The school conducts classes in special, talented and gifted education programs. It maintains a library and media center that includes a range of books and reference and instructional materials. The school also provides academic programs in art, vocal music and physical education. It operates a parent teacher organization that conducts several fundraising events and programs. In addition, Dallas Center Elementary maintains a staff of over 25 teachers, as well as provides transportation services. The school is located in Dallas Center, Iowa. It is a part of the Dallas Center Grimes Community School District, which additionally operates high and middle schools.
