Wonderful service! Zach, the guy at the desk, was very informative, and helped me understand the issues I was having with my vehicle. Steve the owner was super friendly and gave me a ride home, and picked me up when the repairs were completed. I had my vehicle back the same day, and I will be back for whatever my vehicle needs in the future!

My truck broke down on me Wednesday night. I called Steve Thursday morning and he had a tow truck come pick it up and my truck went to Shaw Auto. Steve could not get my truck to start for him realizing it was due to the security system on it. Steve came to my place, got the fob and was able to replace the fuel filter by Friday at noon. Awesome customer service and much appreciated!!

Would have been repeat customers, they screwed themselves out of business from my friends and family by:

(1) Charging $1000 more than the estimate, which is illegal. They can go up 10%, but $700 to $1600 for a freaking brake job is hilarious.
(2) Lying about what needed replaced, why, and how much each individual part and labor would cost.
(3) Rude service even before the price gouge.

This is one of those places that tells you you're going to need a lot more done than you really do. I didn't expect a false quote, though.

I have never had a bad experience at Shaws. Steve and his family are super friendly and helpful. They give me piece of mind when it comes to my car. I've also rented trucks from them, and they are super helpful. I highly recommend them!

I felt cheated ...
They run to fill your tank (even under the "self" label) -- to make sure they fill it up before you get a chance to read the price --

(Had I known they charge %20 over market rates, I would have only put a few gallons to drive to the next gas station - and not fill the whole tank.)

Yet, under guise of "helpfulness & service", they make sure they fill up your tank - to charge the etra price. I felt ripped - "bad karma."
