The business changed hands in March 2006 when Butch Starkie, Starkie Bros./ALL Pro Horticulture and Scott Clark, previously with Cornell University Cooperative Extension, joint ventured to begin a new journey in the world of producing and selling perennial plants. We are excited about the opportunities and challenges presented to us and look forward to continuing in the footsteps of Sandy and Hank by providing you with superior product and service. This year our focus to implement a seamless transition and learn the business was only possible with the support of Sandy and Betty, and Hank and Lynn as well as Judy, our office manager. As we develop our own fingerprint on Pinewood Perennial Gardens, be assured we won t forget or change the strong foundation Pinewood is built on. Pinewood Perennial Gardens is situated on 17 acres of land in the hamlet of of Cutchogue NY, a quaint town on the north fork of Long Island. Currently, over 600 taxa of herbaceous and woody perennials are produced on 10 acres in sizes ranging from quart to 5 gallon containers.
