we went on a Saturday evening with the kids. We ordered a small deep dish pizza (45 min) and they had kids pizzas. The expectations (set by our server) were for the boys to get theirs sooner since they were small thin cheese pizzas.. NOT!
After ordering, the server never came back, a table of 6 who ordered after us received their appetizers AND pizzas before us. Two seconds after we flagged down another server to go check on our food, our kids pizzas came.. 3 minutes after that, our deep dish finally came out! Clearly they forgot about us.. and no one came over to acknowledge, apologize, or even check on us. In fact, she looked embarrassed to come over to our table after the runner brought over our food.
The "deep dish" we were told, was 3-4 inches thick- NOT! Although the flavor was very good, the EDGE of the pizza pie was 4" high but the ingredients were half that and was actually like a normal pan pizza. Think of it as a pan pizza with a tall crust around the edges. We're from Chicago, it was NOT Chicago style pizza..
I must say the atmosphere was nice. Great booths with a tv in each. Frosted glasses for beer... good sports bar restaurant. just stick to the thin crust, and expect average service, and you will love the place.
