Founded in 1936, East Elementary School, operated by the Cullman City Schools, offers enrollment to more than 500 students in grades second through five. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The school s curriculum includes classes in English, music, math skills, science, social studies, and health and physical education. Additionally, it offers classes in computer applications, grammar, reading, spelling and writing. The school has various activities, such as chorus, student council, math team, band, scholars bowl, spelling bee and extended day. Additionally, it offers media, counseling, nursing and psychological services to its students. East Elementary School has its campus in Cullman, Ala.
