- Dental ExaminationRegular dental exams by Dr. Lee and thorough cleanings performed by a professional dental hygienist will help your family members keep their smiles bright. Additional preventive treatments like dental sealants and fluoride treatments have been proven to reduce cavities. These services are painless and quick. If your children or family members are active in contact sports, we highly recommend a custom-fitted sports mouthguard. You’d be surprised how many knocked-out teeth are the result of sports injuries in patients of all ages. Our sports mouthguards are more comfortable, thus more likely to actually be used, than those you can get at the drugstore.

- Teeth CleaningNot everyone is born with movie star teeth. In fact, most movie stars got their lovely smiles with help from their dentist. Smiles on Citrus offers cosmetic dental services that can enhance your smile and give you the confidence boost you may be looking for. We’ve got choices that include one or two visit quick fixes, to orthodontic services that take six months or more. Invisalign is a popular way to get the straight smile you’ve always wanted. The aligner trays are clear plastic so they are barely noticeable and they are easily removed for eating and teeth cleaning. For patients who only need visible teeth straightened, accelerated orthodontics might be the solution. Come in for a consultation to see which treatment would help you achieve your smile goals.

- FillingsIf you or your child get a cavity, our Crystal River office offers natural looking tooth-colored fillings. These fillings have several advantages over the old metal amalgam fillings. For one thing, only your dentist will know you have a filling. Another advantage is that they require less of the natural tooth to be removed in order for the filling to adhere properly. Plus they don’t contain any harmful substances.
- VeneersVeneers are thin shells of porcelain that we bond to the front of your teeth after some light enamel removal. All of our veneers are fully customized to meet your smile goals and fit in seamlessly with your bite.
- CrownsA dental bridge can be used to replace a single missing tooth or several missing teeth in a row. The bridge is attached to healthy teeth which are capped with dental crowns on both sides of the gap. This is often the most affordable tooth replacement option.

- Restorative DentistryEven with excellent oral habits, eventually most people experience the need for some restorative work on their smile. We never want trouble with your teeth to interfere with your ability to enjoy life and smile with confidence.
- Root Canal TreatmentCrowns can be used to strengthen existing teeth after damage or after a root canal. They can also be used as a cap for misshapen or weak teeth. Crowns can replace missing teeth on a dental implant or as part of a dental bridge. They are strong and made to look and feel like a natural tooth.
- DenturesDenture technology has made great advances in recent years and there are many different types of dentures available depending on the needs and budget of the patient. Partial dentures can attach to existing healthy teeth. Dentures may replace a full palate and be held in place with adhesives. Another option available are dentures that are attached with dental implants. During your consultation, Dr. Lee can explain the many denture choices offered by Smiles on Citrus to restore your smile.
