We killed 5 cockroaches our first and only one night there. We went to the front office to talk to someone but they had a sign on their door apologizing for the inconvenience of their absence and that we should call a phone number. So we called…. No answer. Called again. No answer. We had a dive tour the next day and left at 6am. Still, no one at the front office at that time. So during our lunch break, we headed back to the hotel to see if the office had opened up. A young guy by the name of JAMES told us MARGE would call us back. We waited 4 days and we did not receive any phone call. I called the next day and MARGE was not in. I called the next day, and still MARGE was not around. Finally, I called the following day using an unknown number and MARGED picked up. I spoke to MARGE politely and told her where the cockroaches were coming from. No apologies, no reimbursement and no attempt to make things better. She blamed us for not checking out early. Horribe! STAY AWAY!!!

We DO NOT recommend. This place is old and run down. The pictures they have posted on their sites are of the Ale House next door, so they are deceiving their customers. This place is a dump. That it was built in 1949 should be no excuse for the condition it is in. They make plenty of money for updates. The carpet is awful. I don't allow my feet to touch. I keep shoes on at all times. No hooks of any kind or ventilation fan in the bathroom. It gets hot and steamy and takes almost 30 minutes with the door open, after a shower, to clear the air and the mirror. Don't be in a hurry. The patio door is a joke. If the door isn't riding off the track, it is so corroded that moving it is almost impossible. Only a few rooms have king size beds and only a few rooms have microwaves and small fridges. Why only a few? Do they just assume that only certain people would enjoy having these conveniences? The beds scare me. The sheets are clean, but I doubt the blankets or bedspreads get washed too often. If you are handicapped, don't bother for sure. If you request a first floor room, get it in writing, otherwise, it's a tossup. We only stay because it's convenient.

Yes some forin lady owns or runs it she is rude, and will rip off anyone she can! Try to stiff me with a huge bill. Please take percaution with this place and if you plan on going their ask 10 times how much something will cost before you use it. thanks
