When moving back to the Poconos, I had to find a new daycare for my 4 children. I came across Pocono Kids and I can say that this daycare was the best thing for my kids. They learned so much and have attended for 2 years now. They absolutely love it! The owner and the teachers are excellent! I would highly recommend it to any new mom or any parent in general. They treat us and everyone else who attends just like family!! This was very important to me! So i must say, Thank you Pocono Kids!!!

This is not an appropriate daycare for children. I recently had a loss in the family and asked my fiancé to come with me to pick up my son at the daycare. I just didn’t feel like talking to anyone. The elementary school was having an early dismissal; I thought the children would be there. However the children had not gotten off the school bus. My fiancé came back to the car with papers for me to sign. I asked him to place the papers in the back seat of the car I didn’t feel up to looking over the papers today. We returned later to try again to pick up my son. A teacher by the name of Nicole approached my fiancé asking for the papers. He explained to her I had not had the opportunity to look over the papers and he would go get papers from the car. He also explained to Nicole I would come in on another day and go over the papers. Nicole told him no and she was going to get the papers herself. She approached my car banging on the window for me to roll it down. She rudely asked me to sign the papers. I told her no I was not going to sign papers I have not read. Then she continued to yell at me, she was not supposed to let people take the papers from the building. I understood and I was willing to let her take the papers back in the building. I stated I would come in on a different day to go over papers. I also explained I did not like her coming in to the parking lot attacking me in my car. She had no idea why I did not want to talk to anyone, she invaded my space, and insulted me in front of my child. She stated people like me think we can do whatever we want. What did she mean people like me? I am a mother. The following Monday I went in to the sing papers. The owner of the daycare said “ Miss. Xxxx I need to talk to you in my office”; treating me as a child. First she asked me for my payment then told me I needed to find another place for my child to be dropped off. Much more was said during the scolding. If they treat the parents so disrespectfully how do they treat the children? I changed daycares only because this one was closer to where I live, but I will drive the extra 7 miles to Mt. Pocono to a daycare that I know is both respectful to the parents and children. I had gone there for the past 4 years never had an issue like this. Pocono Mt. Kids Village located in Mt. Pocono is a good option instead of this place. I am a very displeased parent this is not an ad for another daycare

It is discussing that people would use such a foul way to receive advertising for there new business. As a business owner, I would never use that type of tactic to promote my business! Unfortunately instead of allowing the sun to come out for every one, these people chose to try to bad mouth a business that has only been working their hardest to be a part of the community and to provide a safe and healthy environment for our children!! Which has successfully achieved their goal. I personally worked at this business and then became the owner of this daycare center because I know and understand the importance of having a child in a safe atmosphere. I myself as a mother of five only live and breathe the need and trust of the right daycare! I am not using a false name or a fake email to pretend that I am someone else to make my daycare look good. If ANYONE would like to call or question my business please feel free to meet us at Pocono Kids Daycare and really find out what we are about.

It is a little sad that people need to talk bad about this daycare ms. Nicole (myself) is very well qualified to take care of children and has been for many years all of my students love me and learn a lot from this daycare If u want to take a challenge come on over and see for yourself

I couldn't agree more with the above review. Parents should stay away from this place. My little niece was enrolled there for a few months. My sister complained many times that our little girl was coming home dirty and wet, with pee in her shoes. There is ONLY one restroom to use by 26 kids and all the little ones that are in potty training are just not able to make it. I heard from other kids that every day at 5pm there is a "time -out". All kids are sitting in a dark room waiting for the teachers to clean the place. I don't know why the teachers need so much time, since this place looks dirty anyway. I also heard that the kids are punished by not receiving their mandatory snack. They are forced to sit in the corner and watch other kids eat their snack. I thought it is illegal to punish kids by not giving them food? I noticed many, many times that teachers are either on their phones or text messaging, instead of paying attention to the kids. Absolutely UNACCEPTABLE!!!! No wonder that with teachers like this kids are not advancing. My sister finally moved my niece to a recently opened day care: Lets Play & Learn. In only three weeks my niece learn the entire ABC! and never came home dirty or wet

ALL PARENTS MUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! MAJOR SAFETY ISSUES!!! I have had a terrible experience at that day care. My four year old son complained to me everyday that teachers kept on yelling at him all day long. One day, I left him in there, and stepped outside onto parking lot to get into my car. As I was driving towards the road I saw my son run out of day care center UNATTENDED and running after my car. I got out of the car and went back inside with him. They did not even notice that he was outside. I took his things and stormed out. Their owner does not know what is going on because she is not there full time. Her so called manager, Nicole, should not be allowed to work with kids at all. She was the one who did not notice that my son was gone and as per my son, she used to yell at him. When I spoke to the owner, Lucy, that same day over the phone, she came up with an excuse that it was very busy that morning and that is the reason they did not see my son missing. I don't care if it was busy, WHICH WAS NOT BY THE WAY, Nicole clearly lied to protect herself, when I leave my child with them, I have to know for sure that he is safe. That place is not safe at all. Everybody walks around with their shoes on, adults and kids, in the same room where children are playing. I see it as health hazardous. Bacteria must be everywhere!!!!! WORST DAY CARE CENTER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
