Shelley Sovola L.Ac., OMD is the owner and practitioner at Five Rivers Healing Arts. In practice for 36 years, and locally for 25 years (since 1980). I offer Traditional Chinese Medicine, Acupuncture, Auricular, Cupping Therapy, Ear Candling, Herbs and Integrative Health Products, Nutritional Guidance. Also Needless Techniques utilizing tuning forks. My specialties are allergy treatment, general health care, childrens health, womens health, mens health, musculo-skeletal pain/injury, back & neck pain, tendinitis, headaches, stress, anxiety, occupational injuries, internal health problems, food related health problems, injuries, and more. What to expect on your appointment: On your first visit, a full medical history is taken, interview and discussion followed by your treatment. Expect the first visit to be an hour or more if needed. Your care is important, and the time to allow for your needs and questions. I only schedule 1 person at a time, and will be in the treatment room with you, allowing for extended discussions and learning more about you, and to answer your questions and concerns. Please phone the office to schedule appointments. I am happy to consult with you on the phone or to schedule a free consultation by appointment. Payment is cash, check or money order at time of service. If you have insurance, please contact your carrier for Acupuncture coverage and if they require an out of network referral which will help with the reimbursement. Many policies are an in network situation now, excluding providers right in this local area. I will provide super bills for you, and do accept workers compensation injury claims.
