      St. Clare Medical Center is a provider of health care that offers a range of services from prenatal care to bereavement counseling. The company is licensed by the Indiana State Department of Health. Established in 1902 as Culver Union Hospital, it features approximately 120 licensed beds and 90 staffed beds. Each year, St. Clare Medical Center admits nearly 3,000 patients and serves more than 35,000 outpatients. The company delivers approximately 240 newborns and attends to about 20,000 emergency room patients each year. With a staff of more than 125 physicians, 425 support staff members and 100 volunteers, St. Clare has partnered with Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis to implement Lean Six Sigma. St. Clare Medical Center is located in Crawfordsville, Ind.
