Oglethorpe County Middle School serves students in grades six through eight. It is a part of Oglethorpe County School System, which operates primary, elementary, middle and high schools. Oglethorpe County Middle School s academic curriculum includes a range of subjects, such as math, science, social studies, language arts and history. It also offers learning support strategies and special education programs. The school provides medical care and guidance and counseling services. Its staff includes various teachers, media specialists, nurses, technology assistants, counselors, interpreters, learning support strategists and office secretaries. In addition, the school operates various student organizations, such as a band, academic bowl, and chess and sign language clubs.
