When you take class from Mary Ann it feels as if you are the only one there. While faithful to the "26 and 2" of Bikram yoga, she helps each student improve their practice with individual corrections and coaching. I have taken class with many teachers in many parts of the country but she stands out as an amazing teacher, practitioner and friend.

I love yoga concepts! The studio is always spotless and never smells like people have spent hours sweating on the floor. You just can't beat the instruction that you will get from Mary Ann and Donna. You can get sweaty in a hot room anywhere, but if you want to actually learn more about Bikram yoga and yoga in general, Yoga Concepts is for you!

I discovered Bikram Yoga and Yoga Concepts almost 6 years ago, and have been going to class 3-5 times a week ever since. It's transformed my life: I'm calmer and more focused. My anxiety has subsided. I'm also stronger, have better balance, and am have the endurance to hike tougher trails with no injury. I started going to Yoga Concepts after blowing my shoulder out at a Vinyassa class where the mantra was "your body will tell you what is right." My body has been lying to me for years, and I need instruction. Mary Ann and Donna are teachersthey make corrections if you are not holding the pose properly. They know their students' names and medical histories. Somehow, hearing people's names encourages community; it's a wonderfully supportive group of interesting people. Yoga Concepts is moving and construction delays mean they will be closed a few months. Looking forward to the the new location (behind Tally's on Pontiac Ave) later this summer!

Mary Ann and Donna are master Bikram teachers. They provide specific and personalized feedback about your practice and care about each move students make in the yoga room. Their instruction is unparalleled both locally and nationally. The yoga community is fortunate to have their expertise and passion which they graciously share with every class they teach.

Yoga Concepts provides a fantastic yoga experience. Classes are available daily in a warm, friendly, and clean environment. Mary Ann Nassa draws from her three decades of experience to provide teaching equal to the very best teachers in the country. People who have come to class from California, the epicenter of yoga, attest to this. Mary Ann is too modest to think this way about herself, but it's true. She can see at a glance the best instruction for each student. Mary Ann leads each class verbally in an animated fashion, with humor sprinkled in, but does not do her own practice during the class. She gives the students her full expert attention. She has created a community of fellow students that support and encourage each other, and have become friends. Also, Mary Ann's sister, Donna teaches some classes, and she gives a tremendous class, with a different pace and feel. The heat is therapeutic. Please try this class for your best health and wellness, and experience its benefits.
