- MRIYou will be asked to lie down on a comfortable, padded table. Our technicians will make sure you are properly positioned and relaxed. Based on the type of MRI you are having, the scans last approximately 20 to 45 minutes.
- RadiologyI123 Thyroid Scan – This is a 2 day test that aids in determining the function of the thyroid. You will be asked to discontinue any thyroid medicine for 2 weeks prior to your scheduled exam date. It is also necessary that you have not had any type of Radiology exams requiring contrast injections two weeks prior to you scheduled Thyroid scan.

Diagnostic mammography is used to evaluate a patient with an abnormal clinical finding such as a breast lump or breast pain. Regional Radiology has subspecialty radiologist who are known experts in mammography and are available to physicians and patients for consultations and interpretations.
- Computed TomographyOur thoracic imaging section, headed by a felllowship trained thoracic radiologist works closely with your doctor and subspecialty physicians to provide detailed interpretations of high resolution CT scan of the chest.
- Interventional RadiologyInterventional Radiology is often referred to as “minimally invasive surgery” because interventional techniques allow radiologists to view the inside of the body guiding narrow tubes or catheters and other very small instruments through the blood vessels and other body pathways to the location of a medical problem. Procedures performed by interventional radiologists are less invasive which results in less pain and risk and are performed at a lower cost. Related to Interventional Radiology is Interventional Neuroradiology, which performs minimally invasive procedures on the spine, brain, and nervous system, such as the wide variety of interventional pain procedures. We offer every procedure for back pain and pain elsewhere in the body, such as epidural steroid injections. We also perform diagnostic procedures such as biopsies, diagnostic and interventional angiography, interventional oncology procedures, and interventions that aid in postsurgical support.

Our radiologists are skilled at diagnosing both acute and chronic conditions. We provide specialized imaging procedures such as triphasic CT and multiphasic MRI scans of the liver for hepatic lesions, CT and MRI renal mass and adrenal mass protocols, CT enterography for small bowel pathology, CT urography for urinary tract pathology, MRI abdomen and magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) for biliary and pancreatic pathology, and arterial ultrasound, CT angiography (CTA), and MR angiography (MRA) for evaluation of abdominal aortic aneurysms and renal artery stenosis.
