Located in Covington, Ind., Covington Community High School serves more than 300 students in grades nine through 12, and is governed by Covington Community School Corporation. It provides a comprehensive curriculum and instructional programs, and includes English, business, mathematics, family and consumer science, agribusiness and science, social studies, vocational courses, foreign language, multidisciplinary programs, fine arts, special education, and health and physical education. Its sports programs include cheerleading, field hockey, soccer, cross-country, basketball, wrestling, track and field, tennis, baseball, and softball. The school provides a wide range of extracurricular activities, such as art, Spanish, library, Latin, French and letterman clubs, jazz and pep bands, National Honor Society, student council and yearbook. It has a health center and a media center, and provides guidance and counseling services as well. The school uses Indiana Statewide Testing for Educational Progress to evaluate students performance in grades nine and 10.
