Covington Christian School, previously known as First Baptist School, is an educational institution that offers a range of academic programs and athletic activities. Founded in 1979, the school serves students in grades 6 through 12. Its academic curriculum includes English, social studies, math, science, health and physical education, technology and language arts. The school offers a variety of athletic activities, including basketball, cheerleading, football, cross-country, baseball, volleyball and wrestling. It also provides instructional classes in band, choir and drama. The school manages a staff of teachers and support personnel. In addition, it publishes a weekly bulletin.
