      Wheeler Funeral Home was founded in 1991 by life-long Newton County residents Bill and Bob Wheeler. We have been a cornerstone in the Covington community for many years and take pride in being the first facility in Newton County to be constructed solely as a funeral home. We were also the first funeral home to offer on-site cremation and pet cremation services. Our staff with more than 200 years of combined experience realizes that each family has different needs. Therefore, we are committed to assisting you in creating a meaningful service with dignity, respect and professionalism.
