Guardian Automotive Corporation is a division of Guardian Industries. Headquartered in Auburn Hills, Mich., Guardian Industries is a manufacturer of architectural glass and automotive products. In addition, the company operates through several subsidiaries that are collectively called Guardian Building Products. Guardian Building Products consists of Ashley Aluminum, Guardian Fiberglass and Guardian Installed Services. Each of these divisions serves the residential and commercial construction industries. Guardian Fiberglass provides primarily fiberglass insulation. Ashley Aluminum manufactures aluminum products. Guardian Building Products Distribution is an extensive network of distribution centers and laminating plants located throughout North America. Guardian Industries and its subsidiaries and affiliates employ more than 19,000 people at manufacturing facilities located throughout North America, Europe, South America, Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Guardian Automotive Corporation, the automotive glass division of Guardian Industries, maintains a location in Covington, Ga.
