Wow what a place. We were in Town for my wife's family reunion and made a reservation at the wrong hotel. We tried to cancel our resvervation and told no. So we decided to give it a try. Big Mistake! The room smelled of mildew and there were spider webs in the bath room. We found a giant brown recluse in the bath tub. I caught the spider in some tissue and tried to show it to the owner. She proceeded to tell us we were lying and trying to get out of the room. At that point she told us to leave and she was going to charge us with the room anyway. We argued with her and asked for her cancelation policy and she said she didn't have to show it to us. She threatened to call the police and we told her to feel free. Then we noticed that she had all of our credit card information written down in a spiral notebook with about 5 other customers lying on the front counter for anyone in the world to help themselves to. We tore off our information and left with the owner cussing behind us

If you are looking for an OLD rundown motel with tiny rooms that are musty and in need of maintenance then this is the place for you. Add to that the owner who could not understand that we had two people staying but only needed one bed instead of two beds, mis- charged us on check-in and then insisted we told him only one person was staying and increased the bill when I checked out. I was trying to get checked out so I could make it to my mothers funeral and it took close to 15 minutes and two people to calculate the difference between the 1 person rate they had mis-charged us and the two person rate while they insisted several times my wife had told them one person was staying even though they had the reservation showing two people. I had words about him calling me and my wife liars and then they threatened to call the police. The only thing I had asked for was how much I owed so I could get checked out. My rating of the hotel and especially the management is a MINUS 10.
