Rue Elementary School offers education to students in kindergarten through sixth grade. In addition to academic subjects, it offers classes in reading, arts, physical education, band and orchestra. The school also has a parent-teacher organization that sponsors a variety of events that include open house suppers, hayrack rides, skating parties, family reading nights and pride parades. Rue Elementary School also has a library that offers a range of print and electronic resources. It is a part of the Council Bluffs Community School District. The district provides community education classes on dance, golf, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, computer usage, photography and Spanish. Rue Elementary School is located in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
