The company has processing centers and offices throughout the central United States and also offers pre-owned equipment for purchase. The company serves industrial clients and salvage operations of every kind. Alter Trading uses source control, radiation screening, optical spectrometers, water treatment systems, concrete pads and comprehensive employee training when recycling scrap metal to ensure environmental protection and safety compliance. In addition, the company utilizes a Web-based order tracking system to enable suppliers and customers to monitor all transactions. Alter Trading has offices and ISO 9001 certified processing plants in nearly 10 states throughout the Midwest and serves customers locally and abroad.
