The most notable project of B&W Engineering is the development of the autopilot for the United States Air Force. The company is a leading manufacturer of quality assurance test equipment for semiconductor and electronics manufacturers, aerospace companies and military and space agencies. B&W Engineering has worked on microphone designs and holds several patents from relays to AC batteries. Its products include PIND, shock and vibration systems for use in MIL-STD-883, MIL-STD-750, MIL-STD-202, CECC6500 and other industry standards for high reliability testing. Founded in 1976, B&W Engineering is headquartered in Costa Mesa, Calif.
