Established in 1947, Lincoln Elementary School offers a range of educational programs to more than 400 students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school s curriculum includes reading, writing, social studies, math, science and English. It conducts classes in physical education, as well as administers English as a Second Language and Title I programs. The school also maintains a library and media center that stocks books, periodicals, and reference and instructional materials. It operates a parent-teacher organization that conducts several fundraising events and programs. In addition, the school employs a counselor, kitchen manager and custodian. Located in Corvallis, Ore., Lincoln Elementary School is a part of the Corvallis School District, which serves more than 6,000 students in various elementary, middle and high schools.
