Operational for more than 45 years, Jefferson Elementary School provides academic instructions to more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade five. It offers educational classes in reading, spelling, handwriting, composition, math, social studies, science, music, art, media, life skills, speech and physical education. The school has a library media center that provides print, nonprint, hardware, software, and online networking to enrich students classroom studies and to assist them in writing reports. It has a parent-teacher association that works with students, their families, schools and businesses to expand the educational opportunities for students. Jefferson Elementary School is a part of the Corvallis School District and is located in Corvallis, Ore.
