Neil Cummins Elementary School has received the California Exemplary School Award for health and physical education in 1998. The elementary school serves students in kindergarten through grade four. The school s basic curriculum includes instruction in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, art and vocal music. The elementary school s parent-teacher association assists students, parents, teachers and other school personnel to foster student potential, enhance student achievement and prevent personal difficulties. Neil Cummins Elementary School organizes a variety of programs, including book and health fairs. In addition, the school offers health and food services. Located in Corte Madera, Calif., Neil Cummins Elementary School is a part of the Larkspur School District.
