Corry Rubber Corporation designs and manufactures custom rubber and elastomer products through molding and extrusion. Its technical team designs, prototypes, tests and finishes elastomeric products through rubber molding, injection and extrusion equipment. It maintains a complete design testing laboratory, as well as prototyping facility. It utilizes finite element analysis to develop products by using existing technology and sequential molding technology. Its extensive lab tests products for a variety of properties, such as aging, tensile strength, elongation, resistance to temperature, moisture, atmospheric ozone, oils, solvents, spring rates and damping. It provides stocking programs and works with Kanban programs. Its molding facilities include computer-controlled injection presses networked together with a master supervision computer.
