      General Info
      Coronita Elementary School is a four-track, year-round school that enrolls more than 1,000 students. It offers special education, Title 1, bilingual and reading recovery programs, as well as gifted and talented education. The school s after-school programs include dance and choir classes and chess, art and jump rope clubs. Coronita Elementary School offers READ 180, which is an intensive reading intervention program that includes tutoring sessions and homework assistance. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The school additionally conducts art, music and physical education classes. Coronita Elementary School, in addition, offers the English as a Second Language program. Its parent-teacher association organizes book fairs and night outings for parents.
