Founded in 1967, Crisp Academy is an educational institution that serves students in kindergarten through grade 12. It offers classes in language arts, science, social studies, mathematics, music, art and Spanish. The academy provides various sports activities, such as cheerleading, volleyball, basketball, golf, tennis, softball, and track and field. It features a gymnasium and library with Internet access. The academy manages a staff of more than 30 teachers and support personnel. Crisp Academy is a member of the Southeastern Association of Independent Schools. The Academy is accredited by the Georgia Accrediting Commission. Located in Cordele, Ga., Crisp Academy additionally maintains a student council.
