Lots of issues: employees stealing from residents, high turnover of employees, snow removal in the parking lot was pitiful, had to remind staff tof bathe family member, doctors order were not followed, had to take family member to the bathroom every 2-3 hours and it wasn't done, constant urine smell in hallways, not enough activities for residents....don't let the beautiful building fool you.

When my father started to show the effects of Alzheimers, Windmill Manor called an ambulance and sent him to Mercy Hospital and then refused to readmit him to Windmill Manor. We were forced to find a new care center for Dad. I think the message was that we should have refrained from being too vocal about our (quite reasonable) expectations. They do now want the family members of residents to be that involved.
