Located in Coos Bay, Ore., Sunset Middle School is an educational institution that offers a variety of academic and extracurricular options to students in grades seven and eight. The school maintains a staff of certified teachers that offers educational classes in music, art, physical education, reading, writing and computer applications. Its academic curriculum also includes math, science, language arts and social studies. Sunset Middle School provides food, transportation, guidance counseling and medical care services to its students. Its staff also includes speech pathologists, guidance counselors, nurses, librarians and custodians. The school organizes various sports activities, such as swimming, football, chess, wrestling and volleyball. It offers the English Language Learners program.
