Safelite was amazing - I called and got an estimate and a next day mobile appointment over the phone. They even matched a lower estimate I'd gotten from another company. The technician was very friendly and professional. He was scheduled to arrive between 8 and 12, and called at 8 to say he would be there well before 10. He arrived around 9:30 and was done in less than an hour. The company even sent me an e-mail with information about the technician ahead of time so that I would know who to expect. I'm very pleased and highly recommend them.

My personal experience with safelite was that they have internal communication issues. On Sunday I made an appointment to have my windshield replaced by 2pm on Monday. They called after the appointment to say they hadn't received my glass on their shipment (from their own warehouse I believe) and wouldn't be able to put my windshield in until first thing Tuesday. They promised that my windshield would be on the evening truck so it would be ready to go out in the morning. They said they'd be here between 9-10am. AFTER 10 am, my husband called to see where they were, he was told that the installer was on his way and should be there in about 30 mins. Around 11am, they called to say that my windshield was STILL NOT ON THE TRUCK!! They mentioned buying it from somewhere locally and having it installed. I decided to call Auto Glass Express in Marietta (ask for David), and they had my windshield installed by 1:30 - same day! Good lucky to safelite, I hope my experience was a rarity.
