Established in 1988, Hightower Trail Elementary School is affiliated with Rockdale County Public Schools and is located in Conyers, Ga. The school has a staff of more than 45 full-time certified teachers who provide academic classes in art, foreign language, health, visual arts, math, physical education, science and social studies. It has an annual enrollment of over 600 students in grades kindergarten through five. The school maintains a guidance and counseling department that provides basic assistance to students regarding scholarships, career planning, and social and mental problems. It also has a library media center that offers a collection of magazines, journals, newspapers and online research links for additional resources. The school maintains a parent-teacher association that conducts monthly meetings and organizes various. Hightower Trail Elementary School organizes several cultural events that include annual fall festival and costume parade.
