Established in July 1934, The National Board of Osteopathic Medical Examiners Inc. (NBOME) is an independent, nongovernmental and non profit corporation. It provides means to assess competencies for osteopathic medicine and related health care professions. For over 75 years, the NBOME has been recognized for excellence in the national and the international filed of physician testing and evaluation. The firm caters to the needs of its stakeholders, including public/state medical licensing boards, osteopathic medical students, practicing physicians, colleges of osteopathic medicine, residency program directors, national professional organizations and medical licensure communities.
