      General Info

      Mr. Garcia received his B.A. degree in government from Notre Dame University in 1975 and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the University of Texas School of Law in 1978. After he received his Texas State Bar license in 1978, Mr. Garcia was commissioned as a Captain in the United States Army where he served as legal counsel in the Judge Advocate General (JAG) Corps. His background includes litigation as an Assistant District Attorney in Bastrop, Texas, and an Assistant County Attorney for Civil Affairs (section chief) in Montgomery County, Texas. He founded Garcia & Garcia, Attorneys at Law, P.C. in 1984 and has remained in private practice since that time. He is now the owner of The Gilbert G. Garcia Law Firm in Conroe, Texas.
